Non-surgical Facelift
Non-surgical facelift techniques restore a more youthful and rejuvenated look using threads and dermal fillers instead of incisions and surgical manipulation. When performed by a skilled aesthetician, like our team at Truly You, you can see results that rival surgical treatments; however, unlike their surgical counterparts, non-surgical facelift techniques come without scars or significant downtime.
These minimally invasive techniques plump the soft tissues of the face to combat facial volume loss and address sagging tissues around the midface caused by aging and damage.
Our collection of non-surgical facelift techniques includes:
- PDO thread lift
- Silhouette thread lift
- Liquid facelift (8-point lift)
Liquid Facelift (8 Point Lift)
Facial volume loss (facial fat loss) is common with age and sun damage. Although this is a natural and harmless process, it significantly contributes to a tired and aged appearance.
Fortunately, dermal fillers are available to restore volume and fill in deep facial creases. While dermal fillers have become well-known in the cosmetic world, most individuals still see them as spot treatments — only useful to address a singular concern like nasolabial folds, sunken cheeks or thin lips.
However, dermal fillers can be combined to create what is known as a liquid facelift. This nonsurgical treatment gives you some of the same benefits as its surgical counterpart, but this option does not require incisions or significant downtime. Instead, you can enjoy smoother and firmer skin with restored plumpness and fullness.
The aesthetic specialists at Truly You will tailor your liquid facelift specifically to your needs. Many patients benefit from what has become known as an 8-Point Lift. An 8-Point Liquid Facelift uses multiple injections (of various dermal fillers) on both sides of the face to target some of the most common areas of concern.
This includes:
- The “apples” of the cheeks
- Cheekbones
- Tear troughs
- Upper cheek apex
- Jowls
- Nasolabial folds
- Back of the jawline
- Corners of the mouth (marionette lines)
With an 8-Point Lift, you can reverse noticeable soft tissue loss and regain a more youthful facial structure. Plus, dermal fillers have been known to firm and plump skin for a healthier complexion that lasts!
Stem Cell Facials
Stem cells are powerful cells that mimic other cells and develop their specific functions. Because stem cells can transform into nearly any cell in your body, they are ideal for helping the body regenerate.
A stem cell facial uses these valuable cells to address some of your most pressure concerns.
In fact, a stem cell facial can:
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Hydrate the skin
- Increase facial volume
- Correct sun damage
- Stimulate collagen
- Plump the skin
- Improve skin radiance
The stem cells used in a facial are harvested from your body, usually from fatty tissue. Acquiring these involves a simple fat draw, which is similar to that of a standard blood draw. Stem cells are usually applied via microneedles; however, they can also be injected into your facial tissues.
Most stem cell-enhanced facial treatments last up to nine months, but results can vary.
Silhouette Thread Facelift
Similar to a PDO thread lift, a silhouette thread lift is a nonsurgical alternative to facial plastic surgery that restores more youthful contours. Silhouette thread lifts insert tiny, bidirectional cones that adhere to and lift the facial tissues and muscles while stimulating collagen.
These cones work in much the same way as the barbed threads used in a PDO lift. By attaching to the tissues, these cones lift and secure sagging facial tissues higher in the face, which not only restores volume to the midface but also helps to reduce sagging in the lower third of the face, such as jowls.
The cones tend to dissolve after six to 12 months, and the results can last up to three years.
The Silhouette Thread Lift is ideal for tightening the:
- Midface
- Jawline
- Eyebrows
- Neck
Sclerotherapy
While generally harmless, spider or varicose veins can make anyone second guess their choice to wear mini dresses or shorts.
Spider veins are small clumps of visible red, purple or blue veins that develop on the lower legs and thighs. Varicose veins are similar to spider veins; however, they are often much larger and protrude from the skin, making them difficult to conceal.
These unappealing veins are often caused by:
- Genetics
- Blood flow abnormalities
- Hormonal changes
- Injury
- Obesity
- Smoking
- Weak or damaged vein valves
Sclerotherapy is a proven solution for the permanent removal of unwanted spider and varicose veins. This treatment injects a chemical solution directly into the visible blood vessels. This harmless solution causes the veins to swell and stick together. By doing so, blood flow is stopped, and without the constant flow, the veins simply fade away.
Considering that your body contains such a high number of blood vessels, stopping the flow between a selected few has no difference in the function of your blood’s circulation, and this treatment is entirely safe.
Most patients see a noticeable reduction in the visibility of their veins within a few weeks of the treatment. This treatment can also help to address the symptoms of varicose and spider veins, including aching, swelling and burning.
PDO Thread Facelift
Women and men often develop loose skin and sagging tissues around the midface and lower face with age. While some choose to dive directly into facelift surgery, others prefer a stepping stone before going under the knife.
Nonsurgical facelift techniques have improved significantly in recent years, and for some, options like thread lifts can postpone or even negate the need for a surgical facelift.
A thread lift, such as a PDO thread lift, is a minimally invasive facial rejuvenation option that lifts sagging tissues in the midface using dissolvable sutures and “threads.” During this treatment, barbed threads are inserted through very small incisions — or entry points — on both sides of the face near the ears.
Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are inserted through these small incisions which adhere to the underlying tissues. These threads are then tightened and secured, lifting the tissues and skin in the middle portion of the face.
These threads not only lift sagging tissues back to their original elevation, but they also stimulate collagen, which is essential for the strength, structure and elasticity of your tissues.
A PDO thread Lift is ideal to treat the following areas:
- Around the cheeks
- Jawline
- Neck
- Eyes
PDO thread lifts take less than 45 minutes to perform, and the results have been known to last up to three years.
Oxygen Therapy
Oxygen therapy is a therapeutic treatment that helps your body take in and absorb higher levels of oxygen than what is possible by your lungs alone. While we all breathe constantly throughout the day and night, we don’t always get the levels we need to be at our best. And when we don’t get enough oxygen, it is hard to feel strong and stay active.
Oxygen therapy, such as that used in hyperbaric oxygen therapy, involves breathing in high levels of oxygen in a pressurized chamber. This allows your lungs to absorb three times more oxygen and improves a wide range of health conditions.
Oxygen therapy has been shown to:
- Reduce inflammation
- Improve cellular function
- Support organ health
- Increase energy while decreasing fatigue
- Improve sleep
- Reduce headaches
- Minimize coughing or wheezing
- Normalize pulse and heart rate
- Improve focus and cognition
Experience how much better your body can feel when you are feeding it what it truly needs.
LED Light Facials
LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy is an advanced facial treatment that helps reduce some of your most frustrating skin conditions. LED facials are highly customizable, and one or more types of light may be used.
LED light facials are used to treat a range of facial concerns, including:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Sun damage
- Mild to moderate acne
- Eczema
- Hair loss
- Rosacea
- Psoriasis
There are many types of light energy, and Truly You will customize your LED light therapy to fit your needs. This may include a single type of light or a combination of many.
Red light therapy is used to stimulate collagen, reduce inflammation, address sun damage and promote hair growth. Blue light targets and kills acne-causing bacteria. Yellow LED light hydrates the skin and helps it heal faster after skin rejuvenation treatments like microneedling or chemical peels.
These safe, low-level light facials can be performed periodically to maintain your skin health.
Laser Hair Removal
Ready to ditch your razor? Tired of painful waxing appointments? Let’s face it, we all go to great lengths to keep unwanted hair growth at bay. From shaving to waxing to plucking, it’s challenging, time-consuming and frustrating to keep the areas we want hair-free and smooth.
Laser hair removal is a long-lasting treatment option to reduce the growth of unwanted hair, leaving you with smoother skin texture and far less stubble.
Laser hair removal can address nearly any area on your body, including the:
- Legs
- Bikini line
- Underarms
- Arms
- Face
- Back
- Chest
Laser hair reduction dispurses safe and effective energy pulses that target and destroy hair follicles, thus reducing or even pausing hair growth. While this treatment may not permanently stop hair growth, it will significantly reduce it, and any new growth will be finer, lighter and much less noticeable. Plus, treatments are short, comfortable (or at least manageable) and recovery is minimal.
Laser hair reduction requires at least three sessions since hair grows in multiple stages, and it is important to treat the hair at all stages of growth. These sessions will be spaced several weeks apart, so it is important to plan ahead if you are hoping to undergo this treatment before a vacation or a big day. Now is the time to embrace smoother, hair-free skin!
Hydrafacials
The HydraFacial® has become one of the most well-known and reliable facial services in recent years. This is due to several factors, including its state-of-the-art Vortex-Fusion® technology, its customizable nature, and the regenerative power of the serums used. But really — it simply works!
The HydraFacial® is a multi-step facial treatment that helps restore clearer, more even-toned and healthier skin. By combining deep cleansing and exfoliation with nourishing serums, you can see and feel the HydraFacial® difference.
All it takes is three simple steps:
- Deep cleaning: A deep cleanse will remove any dead skin cells that may be covering and clogging your pores
- Exfoliation: Using the HydraPeel tip and Vortex-Fusion® technology, impurities are extracted from your pores to allow for unobstructed penetration and absorption of their serums.
- Hydration: Nourishing serums are applied to restore and lock in hydration. These serums are infused with vitamins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid.
The HydraFacial® is gentle and noninvasive, so what is stopping you from achieving radiant skin?
Hair Restoration
Regardless of your age or gender, the concept of hair loss is difficult to swallow. Even if you know you are predisposed to genetic hair thinning, seeing the results on your scalp can lead to sadness, stress and loss of confidence.
Unfortunately, hair thinning affects most adults — at least to some extent. For some, this may mean a receding hairline or thinness around the crown; for others, it may mean a widening part or thin patches.
While there are many over-the-counter hair restoration treatment options, including pills, shampoos and hair growth treatment kits, these are often not as effective as in-office procedures. Truly You is proud to offer effective and proven hair restoration options, including Carboxy Therapy.
Carboxy Therapy shows great promise in addressing the effects of:
- Overall hair thinning
- Male pattern baldness
- Female pattern baldness
Carboxy Therapy is a nonsurgical treatment that injects carbon dioxide gas into the scalp using thin needles. CO2 gas is known as a vasodilator, meaning that it increases blood flow to the area. In the case of hair thinning, this increase in blood flow can help reawaken the dormant hair follicles, promoting natural hair growth.
Over time, this treatment has been shown to improve the health and appearance of the scalp while contributing to new hair growth, reduced hair loss and stronger, healthier hair. Carboxy Therapy has also been shown to reduce the production of DHT, a hormone that contributes to hair thinning and loss.
Carboxy Therapy is ideal for those in the early stages of hair thinning and may not be appropriate for men and women struggling with significant hair loss or balding. Schedule a consultation at Truly You to see if you could benefit from hair restoration treatments at our medspa.
You don’t need to struggle with hair loss. Relief and real results are out there.

Back Facials
Have you ever looked at the skin on your back and wished for it to be smoother and clearer? While we tend to think of our faces when we hear the term “facial,” the face isn’t the only area that can benefit from the process.
Your back is one of the largest areas of skin on your body, and it is often visible when wearing swimsuits, backless dresses or summer tops. Unfortunately, many women and men are prone to sun damage, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, active acne and acne scarring on their backs.
A back facial is a rejuvenating treatment that cleanses, exfoliates and refreshes the skin on your back. From cleaning impurities, dirt and bacteria from your pores to hydrating the skin, a back facial is the best way to smooth and boost your back skin.
This treatment is great for summertime or before a special event to give you your best skin from head to toe.
Acne Facials
Acne is the frustration that many of us never outgrow. While we tend to think of acne as a part of puberty — a painful reminder of our awkward teenage years — the truth is that acne is possible at any time.
Acne develops when your pores become inflamed. This happens when debris like dirt, oil, dead skin cells or makeup clogs them.
Acne facials exfoliate the skin to remove impurities, reduce irritation and kill acne-causing bacteria. Facial serums and moisturizers are then applied to hydrate and protect the skin. Acne facials can be performed alone or in combination with other skin services, including microdermabrasion, LED light therapy and chemical peels.
While acne facials cannot prevent all acne, they can clear blackheads and blocked pores, making your breakouts less frequent and noticeable. These facials are best performed once a week or once every other week.
