How do you get approved for Cherry?

A soft credit check (this will not hurt a borrower’s credit score) is conducted on each application to determine approval amounts/contract type as well as verify a customer’s identity.

Customer Requirements for Cherry

Customer who is at least 18 years of age
Customer who has a valid U.S. State drivers license
Customer who has a valid bank issued debit card

Why would I be denied?

In order to protect customers’ information, we will never share individual denial reasons with merchants. Reasons for denial can include too low of a credit score, no credit record, recent bankruptcies, etc. If you have questions on why you were denied, please call Cherry at (888) 839-7171

Why are there different interest rates on the CareCredit credit card application?

The standard Cardholder’s APR is 26.99%. Your account’s APR may be different. Existing cardholders should see their credit card agreement for applicable terms. The Minimum Interest Charge is $2.

Our No interest if Paid in Full Within 6, 12, 18 and 24 month financing options (sometimes called Deferred Interest) let you pay for purchases of $200 or more with minimum monthly payments made throughout the duration of your promotional period. Interest accrues during the promotional period but will not be charged if you pay your balance in full by the end of the promotional period.*

Our Reduced APR special financing options of 24, 36, 48, and 60 months are for larger purchase amounts, letting you make monthly payments with a reduced, interest rate over the duration of your promotional period. Purchases of $1,000 or more may be eligible for a 24 months offer with a 14.90% APR, a 36 months offer with a 15.90% APR or a 48 months offer with a 16.90% APR. Purchases of $2,500 or more may be eligible for a 60 months offer with a 17.90% APR.

What happens if I apply for Care Credit with a co-signer?

Your joint applicant is applying jointly with you for credit. If approved, the joint applicant will also receive a CareCredit credit card and be jointly responsible for the account including the charges of any authorized user.

Will prequalifying for Care Credit impact my credit score?

Submitting the prequalification form allows us to use your information to see if you’re likely to be approved with no impact on your credit score, but the prequalification process will result in a soft inquiry that will not impact your credit score.
